The London Boat Show appears to have turned the corner, now attracting 90,000 visitors with lots of interest in the Mediterranean boating pool and the classic yacht feature with Peter Methven’s Altricia on display, fully kitted out with Barton deck hardware. Visitors to the Barton stand were able to seek advice from our technical experts…seems that there are plenty of winter projects underway! Our mainsheet traveller promotion was certainly well received through Barton Dealers TCS Chandlery, Jimmy Green and Arthur Beale.

We ran a competition at the show with top prize of a £100 voucher going to Mr Nigel Robinson. He sails a Southerly 115 on the West Coast and is busy thumbing through our latest catalogue with his wish list.

Distributor Robert Lindemann reports a very upbeat Show at Dusseldorf, certainly the numbers were up on last year with 247,000 visitors making this the largest Boat Show in the World. Sales Manager Christian Brewer caught up with some of our key customers who all reported good business for 2016.
