Ratchet Blocks

Barton Marine - Ratchet Blocks

The new Barton Ratchet Block is designed to be used on mainsheet systems and spinnaker sheets on dinghies and keelboats, and for small yachts up to 30 feet.

Combining high performance engineering and contemporary design, the 55mm ratchet block is the first in a planned range of sizes, it also offers a stainless steel lever that locks the swivel head if desired.

The new Ratchet Block allows sailors to easily hand hold loaded lines and offer balance between holding power and controlled easing.

Designed for low friction and longevity in harsh marine environments, the Ratchet Block body is manufactured from a composite of high density nylon and glass fiber reinforced polymer with a high level of UV protection. Internal components are of marine grade 316 stainless steel and the 12 faced aluminium sheave is anodised in gunmetal silver.

Are you looking for a secure alternative for traditional cleats that are specifically designed for kayaks, water toys, paddleboards and fenders? Launching at METSTRADE 2018, the Barton Marine Quick Cleat is perfect for novices and seasoned mariners and takes the place of tying and releasing knots. It’s made of nylon reinforced composite and secures braided lines up to 6mm with a working load limit of 13.5 kilos.

Sold in pairs, the Barton Marine Quick Cleat offers exceptional value.   Easy to use, simply rotate the lever on top of the cleat, insert the line and release the lever which secures the rope. From securing fenders, gear, painter lines, buckets, boat gears or other gear, the Barton Marine Quick Cleat is designed to alter rope tension in one direction, but grips the rope firmly and securely in the other.

Barton Marine are currently testing new variations of the Quick Cleat for Inflatables, and a larger stainless steel version with greater load rates for a variety of uses on yachts and docks.

The new Removable Mainsheet Track System, which is ideally suited for all yachts up to 11.0m (36ft).

This adaptable mainsheet track system is designed to span between the cockpit seats when sailing but is easily removable to ensure cockpit space is not compromised when you want to relax on board.

The removable track system is available in 2 sizes and can be used on yachts up to a maximum of 11.0m (36ft). The track has a maximum unsupported length of up to 700mm (28in). It can be attached and removed in seconds and uses Barton's beam section track.

To remove the mainsheet track, you just push in the locking pin on either side, lower the track and slide it out of the way.
