Mini Transat solo sailor Pip Hare is all geared up and ready to compete in the 2013 Mini Transat race from Spain to Guadeloupe, a race distance of nearly 4,000 miles and in a 21ft boat! This biennial event attracts the world's top sailors and is widely accepted as the stepping stone class into round the world yacht racing.

Pip was top lady helm in the production class in 2011 and hopes to build on this success in 2013. Barton has supported Pip with essential equipment to include blocks, rope clutches and her favourite piece of kit, a Barton snatch block.
