Düsseldorf Boat Show is now the largest indoor consumer show in the world with 17 halls and over 3,000 exhibitors. Whether selling or purchasing, “Boot Düsseldorf” is considered European’s premiere exhibition for marine products, and remains the only consumer boat show in the world that is consistently getting bigger each year.

The main reason for attending Düsseldorf Boat Show was to support one of Barton’s strongest distributors, Lindemann KG, on their stand throughout the show. Barton has never attended the whole show before, but we found that having a team presence there provided support and insight into new markets and customers. 

Attending Boot Düsseldorf allowed Barton to finalise new deck gear for one of our European OEMs, and sign off on a new Furler design system with one of our partner manufacturing companies. It also offered the perfect platform to meet with our German customers and push forward plans for a new track system, including setting up trials in the UK to test the system and complete the design work required. 

We were also glad to spend time with our Dutch distributors, Belship BV – who were exhibiting for the first time at Düsseldorf. Sales Manager, Rene van der Laan, told us that Düsseldorf allowed them to see more customers than all of the boat shows in the Netherlands combined!

It’s hard to put across the passion and following that Barton Marine enjoys in Europe and the rest of the world… but this International Boat Show proves it!
