Plastimo has been a long term partner with Barton Marine for over 40 years, since right back in the days of yellow oilskins and yellow wellies!

Established in 1963 when their catalogue featured just 80 products, Plastimo is now a global player exporting more than 50% of its 15,000 products abroad, as far as French Polynesia. The product range includes liferafts, safety equipment and tenders manufactured in house and a range of deck hardware topped up by outsourcing with major global brands, their market includes boat builders ship chandlers and re-fit yards.

This long association with Plastimo has helped Barton develop a number of products for the French market to include the Barton Cruiser block range and the Barton Boomstrut, seen on all the best race boats in France.

Now owned outright by Alliance Marine, Plastimo is back on a firm financial footing and distributing from Lorient once more. Plastimo has a great team who are very familiar with the many benefits our product range can offer to the value conscious sailor.
