Barton Sales Manager Christian Brewer recently competed in the first ever XOD regatta held abroad with regular helm Stuart Jardine last week (which they won!). The inaugural event was held at the most popular port of Port Crouesty in the Quiberon Bay, Southern Brittany, where more than 1,500 sailing boats are moored.

Christian was astounded by the popularity here of the Barton Boomstrut, fitted to both racing and cruising boats of all types and sizes. France has always been a big market for Barton products and globally is the biggest market for the Boomstrut, which is fitted as standard to the Beneteau Figaro and Jeanneau Sunfast 3200. One happy owner remarked on the simplicity of the design and good value it offers against other systems.
