Barton Marine is launching new packaging for its range of deck hardware, making it easier for customers to choose blocks, cams, tracks and winches off the shelf. The durable, flexible polypropylene packaging, which will replace the current cardboard backing, allows customers to easily view and touch the products before purchasing.

"We research the most suitable materials when designing deck gear and it's important that all aspects of the product reflect this," comments Paul Botterill, Director at Barton Marine. "We feel that we have directly responded to our customers' request for more user friendly packaging with the new backing cards."

The new packaging will be introduced from March 2006.
