| 'K' Cam cleats 'K' Cams are manufactured from a composite Kevlar/Zytal material. They are available in three sizes to accept lines up to 14mm diameter. The use of this exotic Kevlar/Zytal composite offers performance advantages over carbon fibre and conventional glass reinforced resins. 'K' Cams are very strong, lightweight, have excellent wear resistance and a cam profile that makes them extremely efficient for line entry/release even under load. A progressive tooth design ensures maximum holding power on all types of line whilst creating minimum wear on either cam or line. 'K' Cams are now suppied as cleats, fairleads and accessories available as separate components. Therefore you can select the correct cleat, fairlead etc in the colour you require. CAMS: Utilise stainless steel leaf springs which give a soft smooth action. They are also stronger and have a longer life than conventional wire springs. CAM BASES: Cam bases feature a stainless steel wear bar for prolonged life. TOP FAIRLEADS: Incorporate stainless steel reinforcing for added strength and wear resistance. PILLAR FAIRLEADS: Enable the cleats to be engaged from a variety of angles. Can be fitted either way round to achieve a lead from either in front or behind the cam. Stainless steel pillars add strength and wear resistance. COLOURS: Pillar and TopFairleads are available in either Grey, Green ,Red or Yellow. CAM TOP CAPS: Cam top caps are supplied separately and can easily be fitted to colour code control lines. Supplied in packs containing two caps in Red, Green & Yellow. WIRE FRONT FAIRLEADS: Are from stainless steel and locate securely into the cleat base. WEDGE MOUNTS: Angled wedge mounts are available to suit all three sizes of cleat. |
